Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro: Quick Overview
Asus has launched its new gaming phones globally, with availability in the European market, India, and Taiwan. They are expected to be released in the US during the first quarter. Before we dive into the wallpapers section, let’s take a quick look at the specifications of the new devices.
Starting with the display, the ROG Phone 8 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel, offering a 165Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits, and support for HDR10.
Under the hood, the ROG Phone 8 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with an Adreno 750 GPU. The phone runs on Android 14 and is packed with AI-driven features to enhance gaming performance and even generate wallpapers. The ROG Phone 8 Pro is available in 16GB and 24GB RAM options, with storage choices of 512GB and 1TB. This year’s model is also rated IP68 for water resistance.
In terms of cameras, the phone features a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with Super HyperSteady Video mode, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 32MP telephoto camera. For selfies, the ROG Phone 8 Pro comes equipped with a 32MP front camera.
